Athena Mini Figure
"Athena was the goddess of wisdom and war. In ancient times, the people of Athens made her their chief god, naming their city after her. She was the child of Zeus by Metis, and the story of her birth is very strange. When Metis became pregnant, Zeus feared that he might be overthrown by a son, so he swallowed Metis to prevent this from happening. But no sooner had he done so than he began to have terrible headaches. So Hephaestus, the lame blacksmith of the gods, kingly split Zeus's head open with an axe and Metis's child, Athena, sprang out, fully armed.
